Candidate Agreement

Certification Status Management

Candidates are responsible for maintaining the validity of their certifications in accordance with all applicable certification program requirements. Certification holders may be required to complete recertification activities, continuing education requirements, renewal applications, assessments, or other maintenance obligations within specified deadlines. Failure to satisfy renewal requirements may result in certification expiration, suspension, withdrawal, or revocation. The organization reserves the right to review certification status at any time and take corrective action when non-compliance is identified. Candidates must provide accurate and current information related to certification records and promptly notify the organization of any changes affecting eligibility. Continued participation in the certification program constitutes acceptance of all current and future certification maintenance requirements.

Candidate Conduct Policy

Candidates must maintain the highest standards of honesty, professionalism, and ethical conduct throughout the certification process. Any form of cheating, impersonation, unauthorized collaboration, falsification of records, exam content sharing, fraudulent behavior, or misconduct is strictly prohibited. Candidates may not use unauthorized materials, communication devices, recording equipment, external assistance, or artificial intelligence tools during examinations unless explicitly permitted. Attempts to gain unfair advantages, compromise examination security, or violate testing procedures may result in disciplinary action. The organization reserves the right to invalidate examination results, suspend certifications, permanently ban candidates, or pursue additional remedies necessary to protect the integrity of the certification program.

Location and Testing Policy

Candidates may only participate in examinations from approved locations and jurisdictions authorized by the organization. Eligibility to test may be subject to geographic, legal, regulatory, or program-specific restrictions. Candidates may be required to verify their physical location through technical methods, identification documentation, address validation procedures, or other verification mechanisms. Misrepresentation of location information or attempts to circumvent geographic restrictions are strictly prohibited. The organization reserves the right to deny examination access, invalidate examination results, or restrict participation when location requirements are not satisfied. Candidates remain responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable testing location requirements.

Unauthorized Study Material Reporting

Candidates are expected to uphold examination integrity by promptly reporting any exposure to unauthorized study materials, brain dumps, leaked examination content, or suspicious preparation resources. Unauthorized materials include any content that reproduces actual examination questions, answers, or confidential testing information without authorization. Candidates who become aware of such materials must discontinue their use immediately and report the matter through designated reporting channels. Failure to report known violations may itself constitute a breach of certification policies. The organization reserves the right to investigate reported incidents and take disciplinary action against individuals involved in creating, distributing, or using unauthorized examination content.

Data Forensics and Exam Integrity

To protect examination security and maintain certification credibility, the organization may employ statistical analysis, behavioral monitoring, data forensics, investigative techniques, and other security measures to identify irregular testing activity. Examination performance patterns, testing behaviors, timing metrics, technical data, and related information may be reviewed for signs of misconduct or unauthorized assistance. Candidates acknowledge and consent to such monitoring as a condition of participation in the certification program. Where evidence suggests examination compromise, cheating, collusion, content sharing, or other violations, the organization may conduct further investigations and impose appropriate corrective actions, including score invalidation or certification sanctions.

Detailed Retake Policy

Candidates who do not achieve a passing score may be permitted to retake an examination subject to the organization’s applicable retake policies. Retake eligibility may include mandatory waiting periods, maximum testing attempts, eligibility restrictions, and additional program-specific requirements. Certain examinations, including beta examinations or specialized certification assessments, may be subject to separate retake limitations. The organization reserves the right to modify retake requirements at any time. Candidates attempting to circumvent retake policies through multiple accounts, false registrations, or other prohibited means may face disciplinary action. All retake decisions remain subject to examination availability and program requirements.

Violations and Sanctions Framework

Violations of certification policies, examination rules, security requirements, or professional conduct standards may result in disciplinary measures. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, sanctions may include examination invalidation, score cancellation, certification suspension, certification revocation, temporary testing restrictions, permanent bans, account termination, or legal enforcement actions. The organization reserves sole discretion in determining appropriate corrective actions following an investigation. Candidates may also be required to cooperate with investigations and provide relevant information upon request. Failure to cooperate may constitute an additional policy violation and may result in further sanctions.

Examination Confidentiality Requirements

All examination content is confidential and proprietary. Candidates are prohibited from copying, recording, photographing, reproducing, distributing, publishing, discussing, or disclosing examination questions, answers, scenarios, scoring methodologies, or any examination-related materials. Confidentiality obligations apply before, during, and after examination completion and remain in effect indefinitely. Unauthorized disclosure of examination content may compromise certification integrity and intellectual property rights. Candidates acknowledge that violations of confidentiality obligations may result in examination invalidation, certification revocation, legal action, and other remedies available under applicable laws and certification policies.

Candidate Appeals Process

Candidates may be eligible to appeal certain certification decisions, disciplinary actions, sanctions, examination results, or other program-related determinations. Appeals must be submitted through designated procedures within the applicable timeframe and must include relevant supporting documentation. The organization will review appeals in accordance with established policies and may request additional information when necessary. Submission of an appeal does not automatically suspend enforcement of disciplinary actions or certification decisions. Decisions issued through the appeals process shall be considered final unless otherwise specified by applicable program rules. The organization reserves the right to reject incomplete, untimely, or unsupported appeals.

Certification Marks and Logo Usage

Certification titles, digital badges, trademarks, logos, and related branding materials may only be used in accordance with the organization’s published usage guidelines. Candidates may not alter, modify, misrepresent, or misuse certification marks in any manner that could create confusion regarding certification status or organizational endorsement. Certification holders may reference earned certifications only while such certifications remain active and valid. Upon certification expiration, suspension, or revocation, all references to certification status must be discontinued immediately. Unauthorized use of certification marks may result in disciplinary action, certification sanctions, and legal enforcement measures.

Indemnification Clause

Candidates agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the organization, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, expenses, or legal fees arising from their actions, violations of policies, misuse of certification credentials, unauthorized conduct, or breaches of applicable agreements. This obligation applies to both direct and indirect claims resulting from candidate activities related to the certification program. The organization reserves the right to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification and require reasonable cooperation from the candidate in defending such claims.

Termination Provisions

The organization reserves the right to suspend, restrict, revoke, or terminate candidate participation, certifications, examination eligibility, accounts, or related privileges at any time when policy violations, security concerns, fraudulent conduct, legal requirements, or other valid grounds exist. Termination may occur with or without prior notice depending on the circumstances. Upon termination, candidates may lose access to examination records, certification benefits, digital badges, or related services. Termination does not limit the organization’s ability to pursue additional remedies or enforce continuing obligations that survive termination under applicable agreements.

Official Notice Procedures

The organization may deliver official notices, policy updates, disciplinary decisions, examination communications, legal notices, and other correspondence through electronic or physical means. Notices may be transmitted via email, online account portals, postal mail, or other approved communication channels. Candidates are responsible for maintaining accurate and current contact information at all times. Notices shall be deemed delivered upon transmission or posting in accordance with applicable procedures, regardless of whether the candidate accesses or reviews the communication. Failure to maintain current contact information does not excuse compliance with communicated requirements or deadlines.

Assignment and Transfer Restrictions

Certification credentials, examination registrations, candidate accounts, program benefits, and related rights are personal to the registered candidate and may not be assigned, transferred, sold, shared, or otherwise conveyed to another individual or entity. Any attempt to transfer certification status, examination eligibility, account access, or related privileges without authorization is strictly prohibited. The organization reserves the right to invalidate affected examinations, revoke certifications, suspend accounts, or impose additional sanctions where unauthorized transfers are identified. All certification rights remain subject to the terms and conditions established by the organization.

Equitable Relief and Legal Remedies

Candidates acknowledge that unauthorized disclosure of examination content, misuse of intellectual property, security breaches, or violations of certification policies may cause irreparable harm to the organization. In such circumstances, the organization shall be entitled to seek equitable relief, including injunctions, restraining orders, specific performance, and other protective remedies without the necessity of proving monetary damages. These remedies are in addition to any legal, contractual, or statutory rights available under applicable laws. The organization reserves the right to pursue all available actions necessary to safeguard examination integrity, intellectual property, certification programs, and business interests.
